Our Story
Gaithersburg Garage Door was founded by the current president of the company, Peter Giglio. Peter grew up in the business. He began installing doors for his father’s garage door business in New Brunswick, New Jersey at age 16. When he started his own business it was a one man show. Peter built this business on superior customer service and by God’s grace it has grown to what it is today with fifteen employees and ten trucks.
The price was fair and they didn’t try to do a hard “up-sell” on me to replace the whole door, like some others did. I recommend Gaithersburg Garage Door and they’re in my rolodex now for future garage door needs. And thank you to installers Carrie and Jack, both of whom spent extra time explaining more than anyone needs to know about torsion springs and drums. I had a lot of questions, what can I say!
